People
The best photos are the candid snapshots, not ones where everyone is posed for a picture, trying their best fake smile. The purpose of photograph is to capture moments--when people are laughing, playing, listening... being themselves.
Animals
Patience, taking lots of shots, and good knowledge of camera settings are required to get a good shot of active pets. You often only get 1/4 of a second to snap that perfect shot and make it look like the animal posed for you that way. You should already be down on the animal's level, focused, and waiting for that moment.
Clubs
Clubs are the trickiest of places to take pictures. One is tempted to use a flash, which drowns out all the beautiful ambient colors of the club lighting, making pictures look stark and un-partylike. Yet if you don't use flash, you must use a slow shutter speed which results in the dancers being blurry. An expert combination of perfect shutter speed, judicious flash, and many other camera settings, plus being in the right place at the right time, result in warm, vibrant, colorful shots from any club.
Models
When shooting models, you have the opportunity to control everything from the lighting to the orientation and expression of the model. This opportunity can result in magnificent and creative photographs.
Weddings
While we do not do traditional wedding photography, we have been onhand at many weddings, taking candid shots of the wedding party and those attending the ceremony. In most cases, these non-posed, candid snapshots reveal the natural energy and love that really takes place at a wedding. People are most beautiful when they don't know it, and it's our job to capture these moments so you can have them forever.
